Course Description

The capstone course brings together the competencies and lessons provided in the prior courses. Students will use the skills and knowledge from those courses in turns, building a social media plan for an organization of their choosing and creating a deliverable they can take from the certificate program to use in their own career or job search.

Course Objectives

At the end of this course a student should be able to: 

  1. Employ lessons from previous social media management courses with a holistic and rounded perspective  

  2. Evaluate and critique communication plans for potential impact  

  3. Plan a social media campaign focusing on their organization's goals
