Course Description
The Sports Industry Management Academy is offered on the following dates:
Georgetown will introduce you to the increasing career options in the sports industry—a $250 billion-a-year business that continues to be one of the fastest-growing fields in the world. You will go behind the scenes to learn how events on the field, in the front office and behind the camera are intricately linked to boardrooms, retail locations and homes around the country.

7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Breakfast
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Lecture: Sports Digital Media, Sales, and Sponsorship
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Discussion Session
12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Lunch
1:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tour of Nationals Baseball Stadium
3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Meeting with Nationals Executives
5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Dinner
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Capstone Project
9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Student Activity Programming
Students are typically engaged in academic programming from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with free time and optional student activity programing until curfew. Students arrive and check-in on Sunday and depart on Saturday.
