Course Description

What's a bull market? Why do they call it no-load? Is the Internet a safe way to invest? What companies are part of the DJIA? This class will invest some time and teach you the ways of the American economy and markets. You will be able to read a prospectus, learn when to buy and sell your stock and follow the market. You will also learn how the investment world has been affected by the recent onset of the Internet.

Jr. Discovery partners with the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies to offer non-credit enrichment classes, exclusively for Jr. Discovery students, taught by Georgetown University faculty, graduate teaching instructors and industry professionals, that meet 5 times weekly for 2 hours each.
