Course Description

In this workshop, participants explore the use of reciprocity to gain influence from those they do not have authority over or who may be unwilling to help at work. Through an interactive lecture and team exercises, participants discover how the Influence Model can be used as an effective tool for influencing others in the workplace to accomplish organizational, team, and/or personal objectives. 

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize areas of strength and areas for improvement in their influence efforts
  2. Identify strategies to build relationships with colleagues in their organization
  3. Consider effective ways leaders build trust
  4. Apply the six steps of the Influence Model in the workplace
