Course Description

This self-paced program is designed for investigators, study coordinators, and healthcare professionals responsible for facilitating and implementing specific components of research studies. The purpose of this program is to: provide an overview of the primary roles and responsibilities of the research team in a research stud, and provide the relevant content and tools needed to facilitate the implementation and conduct of a clinical research study.

At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand the major ethical principles and concepts that underlie responsible conduct of research.
  • Apply relevant regulations to the conduct of a safe effective study.
  • Understand the primary roles and responsibilities of the research team.
  • Identify available resources for study implementation at each institution.
