Course Description

It takes a strong concept, high quality marketing and many other elements to build a successful small business or franchise. This session will cover the following key related areas:

  • Sales and Development: All businesses require growth to build their brand and create the necessary resources to support the ongoing operations. This session will outline the necessary steps in having an effective sales strategy, and for developing the business brand.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Students will learn the prevalent marketing and promotional methods used in the small business and franchise communities including grass roots, direct mail, social media and public relations activities.
