Certificate in Early Intervention: Fall 2021

The Certificate in Early Intervention program is a selective program with a competitive admissions process.  For each cohort, an application review committee offers admission to a select and diverse group of students to enrich the classroom experience. In order to ensure that there is a baseline of knowledge and experience of students in the cohort, applicants should have the following pre-requisites: 

Prerequisites

• An entry-level degree in an early intervention/early childhood discipline such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, special education, social work, etc., or related field such as early childhood education
• A bachelors or master’s degree in a related field of study such as psychology, sociology, human development, healthcare, etc.
• At least one year of professional experience in serving vulnerable children and families

• Early Intervention Essay
• Resume or CV
• $35 Nonrefundable Application Fee (at time of submission)
