The Certificate in Infant Mental Health Consultation is a selective program with a competitive admissions process.  For each cohort, an application review committee offers admission to a select and diverse group of students to enrich the classroom experience.  In order to ensure that there is a baseline of knowledge and experience of professional learners in the cohort, applicants should have the following pre-requisites:

Prerequisites

Education

Master's Degree in Mental Health Field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work) OR

Enrolled in a Mental Health Field graduate program

Mental Health Licensed or License-Eligible (e.g., enrolled in graduate program with prior clinical experience)

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of supervised clinical experience (during mental health graduate training or post-graduate)

Currently working in the mental health or related field

 

A complete application will include the following:

•  Statement of Purpose

•  Resume or CV

Application to the certificate is free.  The applicant is not obligated to pay tuition at the time of submission.  Approved applicants will be contacted to discuss scholarship availability and payment options. 

Scholarship opportunities are very limited. Full scholarships will not be available for any individual.
