Budget and Finance


Ideal for Professionals and business school applicants seeking to build a foundation of knowledge in finance and accounting, refresh or update their finance and budgeting skills, or transition into senior management or financial management roles.
Program Format Courses typically meet on Friday evenings and Saturdays at our downtown Washington, D.C. campus. 
Program Length Six courses over one semester on average. Students have up to two years to complete the program.
Program Cost Tuition is $995.00 per course. Total program tuition for all six courses is $5,970.00. Most course materials are included.
Start Date Budget & Finance courses are open enrollment and offered throughout the year, though some courses may be available in the spring or fall semester only. Courses may be taken in any order, however, students are encouraged to complete Introduction to Budgeting first. 

Certificate Requirements

To receive the Certificate in Budget & Finance from Georgetown University, students must successfully complete four (4) required courses and two (2) elective courses for a total of 10.80 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which is equivalent to 108.0 contact hours. All six courses must be completed within a two-year period.
