Gain the academic knowledge and personal confidence you need to prepare for the 2012 AP examination. You will have a fulfilling academic experience that combines study of key concepts and facts with analysis and practical application of political theories and practices. This rigorous summer class at Georgetown will expose you to a wide range of topics while increasing your analytical and interpretive skills. This program also allows you to complement your summer studies by with an afternoon class from our Summer College, where you can earn college credit.

The AP U.S. Government and Politics course is designed as a one-semester high school AP class. It is highly recommended that students who take AP U.S. Government and Politics have already taken a U.S. history course in high school.
