Course Description:

The Capital Educators Introduction to the SAT mini-course is designed to introduce students to the test-taking techniques, time management strategies, and critical reading methods that are central to mastering the SAT and PSAT. The summer session includes classroom instruction as well as one full-length diagnostic SAT that is administered under standard, proctored conditions. The exam is scored with sophisticated software that highlights student strengths and weaknesses to facilitate more thorough preparation throughout the academic year.

• Capital Educators is the DC area's unquestioned expert at test preparation;
• CapEd instructors are full-time SAT directors with hundreds of hours of SAT teaching experience;
• The majority of instructors are graduates of Georgetown University;
• Students will be grouped into classes of no more than 15 students;
• Students will receive personalized critiques of their SAT essays;
• Students will receive CapEd's celebrated box of SAT Vocabulary Flash Cards—the 400 words that appear most frequently on the SAT/PSAT.
