Course Description

Students learn about the concept of “team” within an organization’s structure, where most leaders begin to develop
influential skills. Leading teams involves managing different personalities, cultures, conflicting political agendas, and
varying skill levels. Through participating in and observing team dynamics, students determine the principles of building
highly effective teams.

Course Objectives


Jr. Discovery partners with the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies to offer non-credit enrichment classes, exclusively for Jr. Discovery  students, taught by Georgetown University faculty, graduate teaching instructors and industry professionals, that meet 4 times weekly for 1.5 hours each.
