Course Description

This program will train Chinese TEFL teachers in methodology that applies to their teaching context in China. The overall approach will be based on applied linguistics, integration of skill areas, and various models of delivery.  These modules include the present- practice-production model, objectives-based teaching and assessment activities based on the TEFL China curriculum and classroom realities, student motivation and classroom management, and the “Long Dragon” model of teaching and learning to account for various student levels and needs.
