Public Speaking Mini-Course

Do you want to improve your public speaking preparation, confidence, and career success? This course is designed to develop knowledge on public speaking and executive presence skills, starting from preparation through a successful delivery. The curriculum will lead students through a process to develop and practice their response to "Tell me about yourself" in a way that grabs attention, establishes credibility, and tells why their area of interest matters. The process will develop students' skills to refine complex issues down to clear, compelling points through message development, polished packaging, and an effective presentation to an audience. Students will have the option to develop a presentation on their area of interest that they can give to a community group, a club, or a class in school.
