XCUS-402 - The Role of Manager as Coach

Course Description

This final course is the culmination of the learning that has emerged over the 12 months of the program, including both the in-person classwork and each participant’s ten individual leadership coaching sessions. In this final in-person two-day course, participants will also focus on how staff needs have changed during these historic times and the resulting coaching-style responses required of today’s leaders, including the need for greater ease and competence in having difficult conversations. Participants will practice the skills needed and share reflections on their learning.  

Leading up to this final course, participants engaged in a series of leadership development conversations with an International Coach Federation (ICF)-certified leadership coach, tailored specifically to the participant’s role within Nakilat. Each participant will bring to the final session a completed “Harvesting the Learning” learning plan that they completed in consultation with their coach. Participants will share lessons learned from their coaching experience and discuss their future leadership development goals.
