Course Description
In this 10-week professional bootcamp program, participants will examine, discuss, practice, and reflect upon the following topics necessary for managerial success:
• Self-awareness
• Managing to lead
• Valuing diversity & inclusion
• Decision-making & problem solving
• Communicating effectively
• Designing & innovating
• Marketing for a competitive advantage
• Influencing and motivating performance
• Collaborating, negotiating, and resolving conflict
• Managing time, resources, and projects
Taught by business industry experts and practitioners, the program features a blend of lectures, class exercises, individual and group work, and a capstone project. Students who successfully complete the program will also be awarded an official Certificate in Business Essentials for Successful Managers from Georgetown University
